Internet Upgrade Options
There are two choices:
Mancomunidad Managed Bandwidth and
Mancomunidad Bandwidth with Static IP Address
Mancomunidad Managed Bandwidth
The cheapest way to connect to the Internet.
Software manages the bandwidth into the resort via a single external IP address and feeds this to your property based on your usage.
Your properties' IP address is unknown to the world wide web. The software manages the requirements for each owner and maximises the use and efficiency of the bandwidth feed.
Connections are provided in three Bands, Entry Level, Band 2 and Band 3
There is an on/off option available for these bands.
Mancomunidad Bandwidth with
Static IP Address
These options provide the same services as the standard bandwidth upgrade with the addition of the allocation of a static IP address for your router, and a dedicated maximum bandwidth.
Each property is given its own static IP address (extra cost) and a dedicated maximum bandwidth.
This means that a property owner does not have to login to the Mancomunidad network and can access directly their system from a remote location.
Connections are provided in two bands (Band 4 and Band 5)
There is no on/off option with these options.
Mancomunidad Options 1-3
-
Band 1List Item 1
Providing up to 4.5 Mb Managed Bandwidth, which should be fine for standard internet functions, emails, Facetime, Zoom etc. This is paid for by the Mancomunidad.
-
Band 2List Item 2
Providing up to 30 Mbps managed bandwidth, which should provide a faster service for items in Band 1, especially with multi-users connected to a router, plus single user data streaming and quicker downloads – this also has the option of an “On/Off” service (see below)
-
Band 3 Write a description for this list item and include information that will interest site visitors. For example, you may want to describe a team member's experience, what makes a product special, or a unique service that you offer.
List Item 3
NB: If you are using multiple devices at the same time in your property the router needs to be able to handle this (the older the router the less effective it will be - 2 years old or less is a good guideline)
